How does it work?

The treatment involves a device that creates an array of fine needle piercings across the skin in the area to be treated. After the treatment, the body will naturally regenerate and repair the skin – working below the surface in the dermis. This takes time as new collagen and elastic is formed, but as new skin cells are generated, the blood supply is also enhanced.

What should I expect during treatment?

Lutronic ULTRA™ is a quick and comfortable procedure that typically lasts around 20 minutes. During the treatment, you may feel a warm sensation, and there could be some mild redness afterward. This is normal and generally resolves by the next day. Most patients find the procedure to be relatively painless and well-tolerated, making it a popular choice for those looking for effective skin rejuvenation with minimal discomfort.

How many Collagen P.I.N. treatments will I need?

Typically, a course of three to six treatments is recommended. Treatments are usually spaced four to six weeks apart with maintenance treatments recommended at an appropriate interval. Patients with deep wrinkles, advanced sun damage, stretch marks or any type of scars, usually require up to 6 treatments to achieve the desired results.

Does the procedure hurt?

Prior to your treatment your practitioner will apply a cream to numb the area. A majority of patients report feeling very little to no pain at all once the numbing cream has been applied.

What to expect after the treatment?

Immediately after the treatment your skin will look moderately red as a light sunburn. There may be some minimal swelling but this will resolve quickly. We recommend using Epionce Essential Recovery Kit which will help with any redness or dryness you might experience after the treatment.

You can expect your skin to look plumper, healthier, brighter, more even and altogether younger looking. A majority of patients see results after just one treatment. Individual results vary depending on individual skin health. Most commonly patients report seeing positive changes as soon as 1-2 weeks after the first treatment.
